課程概述 The purpose of the course is to prepare tourism major students for future challenges. The design of the course aims to equip undergraduates the English oral communicative skills needed for career development.
課程目標 The aim of this course is not only to promote students’listening and speaking proficiency, but also to build up confidence to express in English. To make learning a fun experience, students’ basic communicative skills will be enhanced through topic discussions, game playing and role playing in a relax atmosphere. Culture differences will also be introduced through music, sitcom and film appreciation. Students are encouraged to express in English throughout the class, Mandarin thus is only used when necessary.
